Low tide is at 11:05 AM (-1.1), with the best digging typically occuring 1-2 hours prior to low tide.
Learn how to dig razor clams like a local! Clambassadors will be on the beach near the Bolstad Approach on Saturday morning showing eager diggers how to pull razor clams from the sand. Be sure to bring a shovel or clam gun, a clamming license and a bucket or net for your razor clams.
You MUST pre-register and provide YOUR OWN:
- clamming license
- shovel or clam gun for digging
- bucket or net to keep your clams separate from others’ limits.
Please dress for the conditions: coats or jackets, hats, rubber boots, rain gear, etc. (see our vendor page for reference).
Registration is required to participate. Please fill out and submit the form below to reserve your spot in the clam digging lesson. Check in time is 6:15 AM and the class begins at 6:30 AM.
